Week 4's KidsedchatNZ is all about family. Our families play a huge part in who we are and who we will become. To prepare for this weeks chat, talk to mum, dad, uncles, aunties or grandparents to learn about your family, both past and present. Try to find some interesting stories or facts that you might be able to share.

Q1. Who makes up your family? What position were you born in your family? Oldest? Youngest? Middle? What's it like being that position? I was born the youngest  and its fun being the youngest because the oldest has more responsibility to handle.

Q2. What is special about your family? What do you love about your family?that everyone loves each other

Q3. Would you prefer to be in a big family or small family? Why?
small family because a big family would be chaos

Q4. Do you have any family traditions? (Holidays, fun activities etc)

Q5. How often do you spend time with your grandparents? Do you think it's important to spend time with them? probably every year for 2 weeks.

Q6. What's the best piece of advice a family member has given you?

Q7. Share a story about your family. What's something interesting or funny we can learn about them?

Q9. Just for fun! Make a poem, sentence or story using these 3 words: Kind, Proud, Hero.

My family history

My family history   Man down man down we gotta save him. My father who is a great man and is in the army has done many great things for this country. He was born in Fiji and raised in Fiji and he came to New zealand in 2006 when my Mum and brother was still in Fiji.Soon my Mum came to NZ in a plane in 2007. My Mum is a nurse and has saved many people before.My dad soon left the army and got a new job  he works in the company Fletcher and is now the manager of the company. When my brother was growing up he was really into rugby he was so into rugby that he couldn’t miss a super rugby and still can’t miss any.He now goes to Papanui High and is 17. equipment:basketball Step1 Start dribbling slowly with the basketball Step2 As you get closer to the hoop dribble faster Step3 When you get close enough to the hoop take 2 quick medium steps with each foot Step4 Release the ball when your hand is close enough to the corner of the square 1) what has your level of enjoyment been throughout the writing/imovie process? e.g not my thing.
